Dec 11 - Dec 17
Our two-hour workshop will commence with a brief introduction of the basic materials that are used to practice ebru (marbling) art. We will then continue with learning the history of ebru, the techniques and application process of traditional and modern ebru patterns.
Lastly we will transfer them on paper or other materials such as an unfinished mdf or kraft paper to create your own design of a coaster set or your own handmade greeting cards to take home with you.
This rare art form is mostly about focusing on the process itself and exploring/experimenting with colors on water surface rather than the product but still you can expect to obtain a series of at least 4-5 ebru papers (or more) at the end of the session, depending on the time you spend for each of your creation/design.
