Ceramic Marbling Workshop

Come and learn the magical art of ebru (marbling) and create your own mini ceramic pots and vases with stunning patterns.

What the workshop will cover;

Join us for a fun and creative workshop where you will learn how to make beautiful abstract patterns on ceramic using the ancient art of ebru (marbling). Ebru is a technique that involves floating paints on water and transferring them to a surface, creating unique and mesmerising designs. You will have your own setup and six ceramic pieces to work with, including two pots (7.8 cm Height), two vases (7.5 cm Height), and two trinket dishes (9.5 cm Diameter). You will learn how to use different tools and techniques, and apply your skills to ceramic objects. You will take home your own handcrafted marbled creations that you can use as decor or gifts. The aim of the workshop is to give you the basic instructions of ceramic marbling process so that you acquire necessary knowledge to practice the whole process at your discretion.

What to wear?

Wear old clothes & old shoes as it can become a little messy 😊

Note: Marbled ceramic pieces probably can't be varnished the same day so you have the option to take them home without varnish or you can collect them 10 days later and I will varnish them for you.

Cancellation Policy: If you need to cancel your workshop registration, please do so at least 48 hours in advance. This is because I must prepare materials and reserve spaces for each workshop, which has a very limited capacity. I apologise for any inconvenience, but I cannot issue refunds for cancellations made within 48 hours of the workshop date. In that case, you can send someone in your place.
